1. General Overview
The Road to Valor Tournament is a competitive event where players battle head-to-head in the popular game, Road to Valor (RTV). Players will compete for prizes, glory, and recognition in a fair and enjoyable environment. Below are the rules and guidelines to ensure a smooth and competitive tournament.
2. Eligibility
• Age: Participants must be at least 16 years old to enter.
• Region: Open to players worldwide, but certain regional restrictions may apply based on tournament servers.
• Account: Players must have a valid Road to Valor account in any standing.
• Platform: Players must play on PC supported by Road to Valor .
3. Tournament Format
• Structure: The tournament will follow a single-elimination format, where losing teams are eliminated after each round.
• Rounds:
• Preliminary Rounds: Best of 1 matches.
• Quarterfinals & Semifinals: Best of 3 matches.
• Finals: Best of 5 matches.
• Match Setup: Each round will be set up by the tournament organizer or designated referee.
4. Registration & Participation
• Sign-up: Players must register through the official tournament website or platform. Registration closes 48 hours before the tournament starts.
• Team Composition:
• Solo: Players can compete individually.
• Team: Teams can consist of 3 to 5 players, depending on the tournament format.
• Substitutes: Substitutes may be allowed, but they must be registered before the tournament begins. No substitutions are allowed after the tournament has started.
5. Game Settings
• Match Duration: Each match will have a predefined duration or be set by in-game time limits, whichever is shorter.
• Server Location: The tournament organizers will specify the server location for each match to ensure fair ping and connectivity.
• Banned Content: Specific strategies, units, or tactics may be restricted or banned as deemed necessary to maintain balance and fairness. These will be announced prior to the start of the event.
6. Conduct & Sportsmanship
• Behavior: Players must maintain respectful and professional behavior at all times during the tournament. Offensive language, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
• Cheating: Any form of cheating, including using third-party software, exploits, or “boosting,” is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.
• Disruptions: Players must avoid disconnecting intentionally during matches. If a disconnect occurs due to a technical issue, the match may be paused and replayed depending on the situation.
7. Communication
• Voice Chat: Teams are encouraged to use voice communication (e.g., Discord) during matches for coordination. However, players must not use it to harass or distract opponents.
• Referee Communication: Any disputes or issues should be communicated with the tournament organizers or referees immediately.
8. Technical Issues
• Lag & Disconnections: If a player experiences a disconnection, the match may be paused and, depending on the situation, restarted or rescheduled.
• Match Delays: The tournament organizers reserve the right to delay or reschedule matches due to unforeseen technical difficulties. Players will be notified in advance.
9. Prize Pool & Rewards
• Prizes: The prize pool is 10000 rupees for the first position and 6000 for the runner-up. • Distribution: Prizes will be distributed after the completion of the tournament.
10. Disqualifications
Players or teams may be disqualified for:
• Violation of tournament rules.
• Cheating or exploitation of game mechanics.
• Unsportsmanlike behavior or harassment.
• Failure to show up for scheduled matches without prior notice or valid reason.\
11. Appeals & Disputes
• Any disputes should be submitted to the tournament organizers within 24 hours after the match has concluded.
• The tournament organizers will review all disputes and make a final decision. Their decision is final and binding.
12. Tournament Organizers
• The organizers of the Road to Valor Tournament reserve the right to change any rules, guidelines, or settings at any time prior to or during the tournament. Any updates will be communicated to players as soon as possible.
