Introduction:-
Welcome to Shyarana Andaaz, an official literary art competition of DAMRU where creativity knows no bounds! Whether you're a seasoned writer or an emerging talent, this competition invites you to express your ideas, emotions, and stories through the power of words.
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all, please carefully read and follow the guidelines outlined below. These rules will help maintain fairness, creativity, and excitement for every participant as we embark on this imaginative journey together.
2. Eligibility:-
The competition is open to all students currently enrolled in class 11th/12th of any school or undergraduate/postgraduate programs at any college or university.
Open to individuals only (no teams or collaborations).
Participants must register before 20th November.
No prior professional painting experience is required, but is welcomed.
Participants need to buy entry passes for the day only.

Shayari
4. Rules And Regulation :-
Word Count:
Poetry :- Poems should be no longer than 40 lines
Shayari :- Shayari should be no longer than 30 lines
Originality: All submissions must be original works. Plagiarism will result in disqualification.
Anonymity: Include a separate cover sheet with your name, contact information, and creation’s title. The creation itself should not include any identifying information.
5. Theme:-
Theme will be provided on-spot and participants will be given 30 minutes to prepare for the given theme.
6. Competition Format:-
Submissions will be accepted in Hindi and English only.
Participants will have to give a title to their creation.
The participants will have to submit their entries after 30 minutes of writing time based on the theme and need to perform their creation whenever they are called on the stage.
Phones and other electronic gadgets will be submitted before the writing period starts.
Any attempts at plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
Failure to submit within the allotted time will lead to disqualification.
7. Registration:-
Registration will be conducted online. Participants must complete the registration form available on the website.
7. Entry Limit:
Multiple submissions across different categories are not allowed.
Only one entry per person will be allowed.
8. Judging Criteria:-
Originality and Innovation – Freshness of ideas and unique perspective.
Creativity and Imagination – Creative use of language, style, and literary devices.
Coherence and Structure – Logical flow and organization of the piece.
Emotional Impact – Ability to evoke emotions and connect with the reader.
Depth of Thought – Insightfulness and exploration of themes or characters.
Use of Language – Command of language, diction, and tone.
Adherence to Genre – How well the piece fits or innovates within its genre.
Presentation and Polish – Attention to detail, grammar, and overall quality.
9. Code of Conduct:-
All participants must display respect for fellow competitors, judges, and the audience.
Offensive behaviour or content targeting race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation will not be tolerated.
Disruptive conduct or interference with other participants will result in disqualification.
The event encourages a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all artists.
10. Prizes and Recognition:-
Prizes will be awarded to the winners, including cash prizes i.e.
1st Position - 8000/-
2nd Position - 5000/-
Winners will also receive Participation or winning certificates on their registered Mail Id's.
Audience Favourite : Special recognition, exclusive merchandise, and a feature on the university’s social media.
Top participants may be invited to display their work in future university events or exhibitions.
11. Organiser’s Rights:-
The organisers reserve the right to disqualify any participant found to be in violation of the competition rules or guidelines.
The organisers' decisions regarding the competition, including judging and prize allocation, are non-revocable and binding.
Organisers reserve the right to use parts of your performance videos and pictures for marketing purposes.
12. Amendments:-
The organisers reserve the right to amend or modify the competition rules and guidelines as necessary, with any changes communicated to participants in a timely manner that is 1 day prior to the competition.
