1. Introduction:-
The Sole Mate at Rishihood University is an exciting platform for artists and sneaker enthusiasts to showcase their creativity
and craftsmanship. Participants will have the opportunity to transform standard sneakers into unique pieces of wearable art. This event encourages originality, skill, and self-expression in sneaker design.
2. Eligibility:-
The competition is open to all students currently enrolled in class 11th/12th of any school or undergraduate/postgraduate
programs at any college or university.
Open to individuals only (no teams or collaborations).
Participants must register before 28th November.
No prior professional customization experience is required, but it is welcomed.
Participants need to buy entry passes for the day only.
3. Competition Format:-
Duration: The competition will last for 4 hours.
Theme: A specific theme will be announced prior to the event, and all customizations must relate to this theme.
Materials: Participants will be provided with Sneakers & customization supplies.
Live Audience: Participants will customise their sneakers in front of an audience, adding to the interactive experience.
4. Submission Requirements:-
Participants must submit their name, a brief bio, and a statement of their artistic approach upon registration.
All customizations must be created live during the competition; no pre-prepared designs are allowed.
Submissions should be original and free of any offensive or inappropriate content.
5. Judging Criteria:-
Creativity & Originality: Uniqueness of the design concept and execution.
Technique & Skill: Mastery of customization techniques and use of materials.
Adherence to Theme: Relevance to the announced theme.
Overall Aesthetic: Visual appeal and composition of the final product.
Engagement: Interaction with the audience and performance energy during the customization process.
6. Prizes and Recognition:-
Prizes will be awarded to the winners, including cash prizes i.e.
1st Position - 5000/-
2nd Position - 3000/-
Winners will also receive Participation or winning certificates on their registered Mail Id's.
Audience Favourite: Special recognition, exclusive merchandise, and a feature on the university’s social media.
Top participants may be invited to display their work in future university events or exhibitions.

7. Code of Conduct:-
All participants must display respect for fellow competitors, judges, and the audience.
Offensive behaviour or content targeting race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation will not be tolerated.
Disruptive conduct or interference with other participants will result in disqualification.
The event promotes a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all artists.
8. Organisers' Rights:-
Organisers reserve the right to modify the competition schedule, judging panel, or venue due to unforeseen circumstances.
Performances may be recorded and used for promotional purposes, with proper credit given to participants.
Any disqualifications due to rule violations will be at the discretion of the organisers.
9. Amendments:-
The organisers reserve the right to make amendments to these guidelines at any time, with any changes communicated to participants in a timely manner i.e. 1 day prior to the competition.
