Tournament Overview
Tournament Name: Swadeshi Valorant Championship
Format: Single-elimination knockout format.
Number of Teams: 16 teams.
Tournament Structure:
Round of 16: 8 matches → 8 teams advance.
Quarterfinals: 4 matches → 4 teams advance.
Semifinals: 2 matches → 2 teams advance to Finals.
Finals: 1 match to decide the champion.
Prize Pool Distribution: ₹60,000
Winner: ₹35,000
Runner-up: ₹20,000
Match Format:
Round of 16 & Quarterfinals: Best-of-1 (BO1).
Semifinals & Finals: Best-of-3 (BO3).
Match Dates:
Online Matches: [Insert Dates] (Rounds 1 to Quarterfinals).
LAN Matches: [Insert Dates] (Semifinals & Finals at Rishihood University).
Map Pool:
Available Maps: Bind, Haven, Split, Ascent, Pearl, Fracture, Lotus.
Map Selection Process:
BO1: Each team alternates banning maps until 1 map remains.
BO3:
Team A bans 1 map.
Team B bans 1 map.
Team A picks Map 1.
Team B picks Map 2.
Remaining map is the decider (Map 3).
Detailed Rule Book for Valorant Knockout Tournament
1. General Rules
1.Eligibility:
•All players must be 16 years or older and reside in India.
•Valid Riot accounts linked to the tournament platform are required.
2.Team Composition:
•Each team must have 5 main players and can register up to 2 substitutes.
•Substitutes can be used only between matches.
3.Code of Conduct:
•Respect toward opponents, officials, and audience is mandatory.
•Offensive language, hate speech, or toxicity will result in penalties.
2. Match Rules
1.Match Timing:
•Teams must check in 15 minutes before their match starts.
•Matches start as per the schedule. A 10-minute grace period is allowed.
2.Server Settings:
•Server: Mumbai (India).
•Mode: Custom 5v5 Competitive.
•Overtime: 2-round win differential as per Valorant rules.
3.Round Format:
•BO1: First to 13 rounds wins (no deciders).
•BO3: Winner is decided after two map victories.
4.Map Pool:
•Bind, Haven, Split, Ascent, Pearl, Fracture, Lotus.
3. Map Selection Process
•BO1: Each team takes turns banning maps until one map remains, which will be played.
•BO3:
1.Coin toss decides which team bans first.
2.Team A bans one map.
3.Team B bans one map.
4.Team A picks Map 1.
5.Team B picks Map 2.
6.Remaining map is used for Map 3 (if needed).
4. Technical Rules
1.Disconnections:
•If a player disconnects within the first 2 rounds, the match will be restarted.
•After 2 rounds, the match will continue unless all players are disconnected.
2.Cheating:
•Use of cheats, hacks, or third-party software is strictly prohibited.
•Players caught cheating will be immediately disqualified, and their team forfeits the match.
3.Stream Sniping:
•Watching streams during the match is prohibited. Violations result in forfeiture.
5. Conduct and Penalties
1.Unsportsmanlike Conduct:
•Warnings will be issued for toxicity or bad behavior.
•Repeat offenses lead to match forfeiture or team disqualification.
2.Late Arrival:
•Teams not ready within 10 minutes of the scheduled time will forfeit the match.
3.Protests:
•Teams can raise disputes or protests with admins within 10 minutes of match completion.
6. Prize Distribution and Documentation
1.Prize Pool:
•Total: ₹60,000, distributed as described above.
•All players must submit valid IDs and payment details to claim prizes.
2.Payment Timeline:
•Prizes will be transferred within 7 days of the tournament’s conclusion.
7. Streaming Rules
•Matches from Quarterfinals onward will be streamed.
•Players must agree to be recorded or broadcasted.
